The right size in three steps
The brush needs to be slightly thicker than the gap, so it stays wedged in.
Measure the gap
Measure the height of the gap between the roof tile or roof and the underside of the solar panel.
Choose slightly thicker
Take the diameter just above the gap you measured. That way the brush wedges in and stays in place.
Unsure? Take the larger size
Too thick wedges in, too thin lets birds through. If you're between two sizes, always choose the larger one.

Ask your questionHow do I fit the brush?
You wedge the brush in under the edge of the solar panel, in the gap between roof and panel. You don't need to drill and you don't need any tools, and there is no damage to roof or panel.
Will it stay in place in strong wind?
The brush stays in place because it is wedged in. So choose a diameter that is slightly thicker than the gap; if in doubt, take the larger size. The material is UV resistant and made for sun, rain and snow.
Can air still get through?
Yes. The brush strip keeps birds out, but air passes straight through. So the ventilation under your solar panels keeps working properly.
Can I cut the brush to length?
No, do not cut the brush: cutting damages the brush. If your row of panels is shorter than the roll, bend the end over. The size finder shows you which rolls best suit your number of metres.
