About us

Birdstopper is the shop for bird deterrents under solar panels. Here you'll find our bird deterrent: a sturdy brush strip that closes the gap between your solar panel and your roof tiles, so birds can no longer nest underneath. Birdstopper is a brand of DealDonkey B.V., based in Nieuw-Vennep.

Why a separate shop

DealDonkey sells all sorts of things, from tools to household appliances. Bird deterrents are a different story: the diameter has to match the gap under your panels precisely, and most people only buy one once in their lives. That is why in 2026 we started a dedicated shop that sells nothing but bird deterrents. You don't have to search through a huge catalogue, and we can explain for every roof what fits.

Behind Birdstopper are the same people, the same warehouse and the same customer service as behind DealDonkey. Only the shop is new.

DealDonkey, online since 2011

Since 2011 DealDonkey has worked towards the same mission: surprisingly good deals, every single day. We love tracking down special and handy products for you. Items you give as a gift but would just as happily keep yourself, and things that make life easier. We always keep a close eye on quality and keep our prices as sharp as possible. To do that, our buyers work closely with suppliers, from electronics and household appliances to tools.

A small team you actually talk to

The DealDonkey team is small and enthusiastic. Everyone pitches in to get orders out of the door on time from our own warehouse. So we always see the products ourselves before we pack them carefully and hand them to the carrier. Got a question or want advice on the right diameter? Richard from our own customer service team will help you quickly and knowledgeably.
