Keeping birds out from under solar panels: which size fits your roof?

If birds are nesting under solar panels, you usually hear it first: scratching and cooing under the panel, followed by dirt in the gutter. Our bird deterrent brush is a brush strip for solar panels that you wedge in under the edge. Pigeons, jackdaws and starlings can no longer get past, while air still flows through the brush. Because you fit it without drilling and without tools, your roof and panels stay undamaged.

Which size you need depends on the gap between roof tile and panel. Choose the diameter that is slightly thicker than that gap: Ø12 cm up to 12 cm, Ø15 cm up to 15 cm and Ø20 cm for gaps up to 20 cm. You buy this pigeon deterrent for solar panels by the roll, so you add up the metres of all edges and choose the length with the lowest price per metre. If in doubt, take the larger size or let the size finder work it out for you.
